Now is the time to sign up for a season of good eating!

Harrison Market Gardens is proud to offer both weekly and bi-weeklyUSDA Organic shares from our farm gardens. With the cooperation of mother nature, drip irrigation, and 4 hoop houses, we offer a wide variety of products on an ongoing basis. Your farmers use organic methods to grow a wide variety of herbs, vegetables, and small fruits. We will be starting seeds, transplanting, and weeding, and if you wish, become a farm share worker. Work 4 hours and take home a share.

Your customizable shares will vary with your family's tastes as well as seasonal variety. You will have selections from both heirloom and traditional varieties with several varieties and succession plantings of all crop types. We strive to have a wide selection of crops available from mid-May through October. The season starts with asparagus, strawberries, lettuce, peas, onions, spinach, broccoli, and chard and finish with the squashes and root crops. Mid-season? Sweet corn, cukes and zukes, heirloom tomatoes, and lots of peppers. Many weeks include BONUSes during seasonal flushes. We encourage farm pick up as you can pick your own choice of herbs from our many herb beds as well as grab some extras.

Your customizable CSA shares can be picked up at the farm or from various sites in Rockford, Machesney Park or several in the Chicago area.
