Smith's Nursery, Inc.

Smith's Nursery is a family owned and operated wholesale nursery and produce farm operating in Johnston County, NC for over 30 years. We are a NC Certified Roadside Farm Market and Pick-Your-Own Berry Farm specializing in strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and pumpkins. Smith's Nursery offers over 13 acres of container grown plants including shrubs, trees, and perennials. Smith's Nursery provides seasonal field trips and farm tours. Activities include berry or pumpkin picking, pay to fish ponds, a swinging bridge goat walk, catfish pond, hayrides, farm history exhibit, Native American artifacts, and a hiking trail. We operate a seasonal CSA during the spring and fall which we call the Doorstep Market. The Doorstep Market allows members to order fresh, local produce on a weekly basis with no commitments. The produce is then delivered to a neighborhood location for easy pick up. All of the produce is either grown on our farm or purchased from local family farmers. Our goal is for our members to develop a relationship with community farms and know exactly where their food is grown while providing fresh, local produce to their families.
