Monroe's Market on the Square offers a unique opportunity for local producers to display and sell their products. It is governed by a local Farmer's Market Association which elects its own officers and a Market Manager. Working in partnership with the Monroe Main Street program, the twice weekly Market invites local folks and visitors to become a part of the congenial atmosphere engendered by life in a rural, agriculture based community, combined with a large variety of shopping, food and entertainment opportunities located on the city's historically beautiful downtown Square.

Main Street Market on the Square offers farm fresh produce every Wednesday and Saturday from mid-May to late October. In addition fresh cut flowers, bedding plants, jams & jellies, salsa, sauerkraut, honey, farm eggs, local cheese and meats and bakery items are avilable.
