🌱 **Ambrose Family Farm** — proudly family-owned and rooted in tradition since 1976. For nearly five decades, we’ve been nurturing the land and growing fresh, organic crops all year long.
🍓 **Spring bursts to life** with our beloved You-Pick season, beginning in mid-to-late March with juicy strawberries. As the season unfolds, guests can wander the fields for blueberries, blackberries, figs, and finally savor the sweetness of scuppernong grapes and the crunch of okra by late July and August.
🥕 Our **Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)** program connects 80 members directly to the farm, offering Winter, Spring, and Fall shares in four sizes. Choose a fully customizable box or let us surprise you with our “Farmer’s Choice.” Convenient pick-up spots include West Ashley and Downtown on Wednesdays, Johns Island Wednesday through Saturday at our **Stono Market & Tomato Shed Café**, and right here on the farm Wednesday through Saturday.
🏡 The **Farm Stand** is open year-round, brimming with seasonal bounty and local flavor. Beyond produce, we’ve created several charming on-farm event spaces — perfect for gatherings of 50 to 75 guests. Throughout the year, we also host special farm events that celebrate community, food, and the land we love.

The Ambrose Family also owns and operates one of the olders farmer's markets in the area, Stono Market, 842 Main Road. Open year 'round, Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm & Sat, 9am to 5pm offering a full line of produce grown on Ambrose Family Farm and other local farms as well as items grown in many other areas, we also serve a great lunch at our Tomato Shed Cafe, serving lunch M-Sat, 11am to 2:30pm. From Charleston, Maybank Hwy to Main Rd/Bohicket Rd intersection. Stay on Maybank Hwy onto Wadmalaw Island nearly 7 miles to Liberia Rd. (Ambrose Farm Sign on Right along with Post Office and other attractions) Turn RIGHT onto Liberia Rd, 1 mile to Selkirk Plantation on Right(Large Ambrose Farm Sign on left) and turn right. As you go through the entrance, make an immediate left turn and go through the metal gate, following the drive to the Farm Stand on left pass greenhouse. USE GPS It will bring you right to us!
