Gilliam's Community Garden Inc.located 1286 Oakland Terrace SW Atlanta GA 30310 Founded In 2011. ​We at Gilliam's Community Garden define gardening as one of those perfect activities that feed the soul as well as the body, because it allows us to become partners with nature as we coax beauty and nourishment out of the earth. As such, our mission is to support and create opportunities for all residents of Oakland City regardless of circumstances. Here at Gilliam's Gardens we grow a wide variety of organic produce. We exist to build community by providing the space to garden, the expertise to assist others, and the education to empower current and future generations of organic gardeners. By doing so, we improve more than our community's green space. We improve its health, vitality, and self-reliance.
