Grateful Farm is a small, owner operated, vegetable farm growing for markets, restaurants and CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) using organic methods since 1983. We are located in Franklin, MA, halfway between Providence, RI and Boston, MA.
In addition to our CSA we have a Greenbucks program for those who wish to support local sustainable agriculture without becoming a CSA member. You can find out more about Greenbucks on our website. Our CSA begins the first week of June and ends the first week of November. Every week for 22 weeks CSA members receive freshly harvested produce from our fields. The vegetables in the share will vary as the seasons change. One share provides enough vegetables for two to four people depending on your households eating habits.
Our 2014 share price is $550 for 22 weeks of vegetables. We plan to provide between $25 to $30 worth of produce weekly, plus more as is available. Last year our share distribution exceeded $600 per person. We ask that payment be made in full by February 28th. If that presents a hardship, we will reserve a share for $275 due February 28th, with $275 due March 28th. Shares are limited, with 2013 members having first dibs.
