The fall weekend market is exceptionally well organized and easily visited using a walker. The staff was extremely helpful bringing out scones for me from the main building and trundling my purchases (including an oversized pumpkin) to my car. Excellent experience.
Russell Orchards has wonderful cider donuts in the fall. Don't miss them. They also have terrific berries;-) Plenty of parking and a real old time farm feel. Great place to bring your family on the way to or from Crane Beach.
There is so much abundance and beauty out in the fields and orchards. The public is welcome to enjoy pick-your-own fruits in season and stroll past the acres of ripening apples, peaches, pears, and more. Check the website for daily picking updates. Wine tastings of our own fruit wines are offered on Fridays through Sundays from 11-5PM. Tasting includes a flight of four select wines.
