Welcome to our farm! We are a family owned and operating small farm, specializing in locally grown fresh farm produce, ranging from in-season fruits and vegetables to fresh eggs, pastured poultry, and maple syrup, cooked down the old-fashioned way over an open fire. We also run a greenhouse in the spring and summer. We have a growing membership in our CSA that runs from the middle of June through the month of October, and a winter CSA offering greens and veggies from our cold high tunnel hoophouse. Our mission is to grow and locally distribute, quality farm produce in a way that will preserve our land for future generations, give our customers the freshest, most tasty, nutritious food for their table, provide a sustainable income for the farmer, and teach others these self-sustaining skills.
We are located 1 mile north of Split Rock, WI, in southwest Shawano County, in an area of rolling hills and glacial boulder trains. The farm has been in the family since Ron's grandfather homesteaded it in 1895. Farm tours, by appointment, are offered seasonally, featuring maple syrup production, greenhouse management, gardening and harvesting, cheese making, sausage making in the old smoke house, and astronomy classes.
