We grow everything that you'll receive in your shares right here on the farm because we believe the major influence of a person's health is determined by the health of the soil. We use certified organic biological pest controls, crop rotation, mulch, green manure crops, certified organic fertilizer, mineral & micro-life supplements for optimum soil health. We grow nutrient packed produce that supports your health. You can taste the difference. Our farming practices support the environment & the local economy. Call us or come for a visit. We want to be absolutely clear that we are producing food for you, our friends and clients, and for our family. Our families will be eating the same crops that we provide to you. Field days are not required, just another perk of being part of this community! This will be a preplanned day to get everyone together on the farm to help plant, weed, mulch, harvest, and get to know your community. Our farm is located about 45 miles north of downtown Minneapolis in Isanti County. We are growing our crops on five acres that John has owned since 1987.
