Uncommon Good

Uncommon Good is a nonprofit organization in Claremont, California, that operates urban farming, education and health programs. Its urban agriculture program, Fiddleneck Family Farms, grows fruits and vegetables exceeding organic standards. No pesticides or chemicals are used in the production of the food. The produce is grown on plots at local places of worship and family homes. Uncommon Good pays its workers a living wage, gives away half of its food to low-income families, and farms using environmentally beneficial methods. Sales of the produce support its education and health programs for the community.
