Grandma's Farm is a small sustainable 15 acre family owned farm run by 2 family members at this time. No chemicals, fungicides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizers, etc. have been applied to the farm. We are committed to the original ideals of organic agriculture. We have made changes to the farm regarding water conservation, soil errosion, composting and crop rotations. Over the past 5 years we have planted 150 various trees including orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, apricot, plum, asian pear, apple, nectarine, fig and pomegranate. The 3-5 year old trees are producing. We offer farm fresh eggs with multiple colors. Our chickens are pastured and have a wide variety of choices to feed on including grass, vegetation and bugs. We supplement with corn and oyster shell. We also have a few ducks and geese whose eggs are available in the spring. Located in South Phoenix, our stand is open every Wednesday evening and Saturday morning with seasonal choices of produce grown on site. We are committed to vine ripened, healthy, fresh, delicious food. Other items include: Dried Gourds, Pinecones, Chicken Feathers, Goose Quills, Dried Sunflowers and Aloe Vera plant starts. With the support of our community, we look forward to expanding and growing more variety in the near future. The farm is in what we call the "baby stage" of growth. Thank you for your support as we continue to build the best little farm in South Phoenix.
