We are a small family farm featuring Heritage Mandarins, navel oranges, other citrus, heirloom tomatoes, summer vegetables, winter squash, herbs, specialty beans, and other produce. We have a large cut flower garden with over 200 fragrant garden roses, many sunflowers, unique annuals and perennials. We use natural practices, largely beneficial insects, and compost. We have set up an intern training program in recent years. We would love to host farm dinners if any chefs are willing.

Started by Steve's Grandfather, Edmund Pilz in 1927, called Hillcrest Orchard in those days. Over the years many varieties of fruit have been grown, with the Mandarins being planted in 1960. In 2002, Lisa brought in the flowers, tomatoes, and vegetables. We sell most of our products at the local farmers markets. We are open at the farm for mandarin season beginning in the middle of November.
