The Polk County Ag Economic Development office promotes and encourages sustainable farming in rural Polk County, NC. We manage a year-round farmers' market, partner with Rutherford County Cooperative Extension to offer a NC Foothills Farm Tour, offer the Farmland Preservation Program in the county, and give resources and guidance on your farming needs in the community.
