Pure Land Farm occupies 28 acres in McKinney, Texas. The primary farmers are Jack and Megan Neubauer, a father-daughter team who made the leap together from corporate life to full-time farming in 2011. Over the years, the farm has evolved to a pick-your-own operation during Spring and Summer.
We feel strongly that education is one of our most important duties. As local farms and backyard gardens have grown scarce, young people in particular have become removed from the practice of growing food. We would love to help your students explore the wonders and challenges of a working fruit and vegetable farm.
Although not "Certified Organic" by the USDA, we do not use chemical pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers or other additives.
