Trail's End Farm

We began selling pasture-raised poultry grown in Salatin style portable bottomless pens moved daily to fresh pasture but are switching to a day range model where the chickens are given more pasture using electric netting to keep them in and the predators out. All poultry is processed on the farm and sold directly to the consumer. All feed is natural and contains no animal by-products or antibiotics. Currently we sell whole chicken fresh and frozen during the market season. We have been selling all natural produce for several years with salad, root crops, and cole crops as our specialty. We have been selling at the Susanville Saturday Farmer's Market and the Quincy Thursday Farmer's Market. In addition to the markets, we have had a CSA for the past 4 years. Unfortunately, we need to suspend the CSA in 2013 to have more time to resolve some water, fencing and structure issues that came up last year. We hope to get them resolved and be able to come back better able to serve more members in 2014. www.trailsendfarm.org
