Misty Morning Farm

Misty Morning Farm is a 108 acre educational and instructional farm growing various, diverse products featuring meats and poultry via a non-profit C.S.A. It is a certified wildlife preserve, has woods, pastures, hayfields, hills and two ponds. All livestock is raised in a humane manner with environmental issues and concerns foremost in our operation. All ruminants are free range roaming on pasture and fed only our own organic hay during winter. Beef, pork and chicken are full flavored "Heritage" breeds. Pork and poultry are organic grain supplemented. No anti-biotics,steroids or chemicals are ever used in any aspect of our operation. Our season is year round on a continual basis. Members can use their fee for the type and cut of meat or poultry they desire. No need to buy a whole of half and receive unwanted cuts; eliminates need for large freezer. Overnight air service permits our shareholders to belong no matter what state they call home. A vegetable & fruit CSA was added in 2007 which has separate management & membership.
