Stony Branch Growers

The Vision for Stony Branch Growers is to provide our customers access to healthy locally grown food that is produced in a highly sustainable manner. We strive to be respectful patrons of our farmland ecosystem. Stony Branch Growers is managed and operated by Alan Brauer Jr, a third generation family farmer. Alan's father and grandfather bought their 215-acre dairy farm in 1962 and continued the family's dairy operation until 1995. For the past three years, Alan has been blessed with great growing seasons and strong relationships that have been built through his participation in local farmers' markets, the Rocky Ridge, and Baltimore communities. He couldn't be happier for the opportunity to provide fresh, healthy and locally grown food directly to customers through Stony Branch's CSA. The CSA is available to the Frederick County and Baltimore city areas.
