We are a small sustainable farm located 30 miles outside of DC in the Montgomery County, MD Agricultural Reserve.
Our operations include pasture-raised meats (grass-fed beef & lamb, pasture-raised pork, chicken & free-range eggs), a wide variety of sustainably grown vegetables and award winning small batch wine!
Our On-Farm stand is open from 11am - 6pm every Wednesday through Saturday.
We follow organic practices, but are not certified. We grow the foods we love and are serious about quality. Produce includes a good number of heirloom varieties. We operate a Cellar Club (Wine CSA), Meat CSA, and Vegetable CSA. Email us if interested.
Our farm is settled on a historic property and adjacent to Seneca State Park. Many come to enjoy the peaceful outdoors and tour a working farm. Tours are on Saturday during our Farm Market.
We have been given the responsibility of land stewardship. We believe that the farm should work cyclically and sustainably in that each plant, animal, etc has a specific purpose that adds value to the overall health of the farm, mainly the soil. For this reason, we take soil care very seriously and believe that only the best soil produces the best crop. We believe in composting, growing cover crops, rotating our annual crops, organic mulches etc. The farm is an enjoyable, educational experience for us and we hope it can be the same for you.
