The Broken Animal Inn is dedicated to raising and providing healthy, happy heritage breed chickens free of antibiotics and hormones, all-natural eggs from these free-range chickens, rabbits, naturally grown produce and seeds for planting. The Broken Animal Inn fosters the use of nature and nurture in the successful husbandry of healthy animals that are not chemically, hormonally or genetically altered. We do not use herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers anywhere on the farm or in the garden. The Broken Animal Inn offers opportunities to visit our farm and meet our flock. Our community involvement extends into partnering with local citizens and not-for-profit organizations in order to drive Community Gardening projects and Backyard Flock initiatives. We are also available for public speaking and school presentations regarding breed preservation, small acreage farming and the benefits of natural agriculture. The Broken Animal Inn is a study in stewardship as we work toward the preservation & propagation of heritage breed chickens, the restoration & utilization of old barns, and the rescue & rehabilitation of various breeds of barn-yard animals. - - - - - Member American Livestock Breeds Conservancy Indiana State Egg Board Certified Seller Member United States Equine Rescue League - - - - -
