Community development begins with our ability to work together in harmony, for the benefit of all those involved.
Remember the stone soup story? Each character had one item to add to the soup that started with just a stone in some water, but after everyone contributed to the pot, they had a delicious, sustaining soup to enjoy.
A feat accomplished
TOGETHER.
The easiest and most delicious way to give back to our community is by shopping at our local farmers' market instead of purchasing produce, meats, and baked goods from the corporate owned grocery stores.
Our market is made up of producers from North Platte and the surrounding area, who supplement their incomes with their market sales. Many of the out-of-town vendors do their shopping here in town after the market, pouring more money into our local economy.
Everyone reaping the benefits of healthier eating, while simultaneously boosting our local economy is TEAMWORK at its BEST!!
