The ReFarmery is a small-scale farm offering ethical and sustainable fruit, vegetables, eggs, bread, poultry, herbs and flowers through our CSA program, farmers markets and online farm stand to the greater Sacramento community.

We are an open door, open source project that merges responsible semi-urban agriculture with found resource re-purposing. Our agrarian understanding is rooted in the limits of our land resource, forcing us to make the most of every square foot available. Post-modern farming, as we have come to call it, is a creative and moral response to the many commercial and industrial wastes that a city like ours must come to terms with. It provides us with valuable resources not available to traditional farmers. Ultimately we are, along with so many other small farms, proving that local food, community support and sustainable living are the future. We live by these simple words:

Live well. Waste not.
