The Stone Wall Farm

Due to Several requests The Stone Wall Farm will begin offering CSA farm shares for the 2014 season. Our goal is to provide you, the valued member with the freshest 100% organic produce possible. As a CSA member, you are guaranteed a weekly share of the farms harvest. You will be taking advantage of the opportunity to have fresh, organically grown, non-GMO heirloom fruits and vegetables throughout the growing season. At The Stone Wall Farm, we are committed to the practice of sustainable growing methods, through the use of compost, natural manures and fish emulsions as fertilization, rotational livestock and crop diversity, weed suppression through the use of cover crops, organic and solar mulches, and pest control utilizing methods of attracting beneficial insects. By employing these practices you can be assured your weekly share will contain the healthiest produce available. This growing season we are excited about setting up and growing fish and vegetables through the use of aquaponics in our greenhouse. We hope this system of sustainable food production will soon be a welcome addition of fresh fish to our members. The Stonewall Farm also raises its own grass fed beef, jersey cattle for milking, goats for milking, poultry for meat and eggs and rabbits for meat. Our livestock are treated humanely and are hormone and antibiotic free. There will be meat shares as well as poultry/egg and milk shares available in the 2015 season, and members are invited to purchase these shares to ensure fresh and healthy choices all year long. We are flattered and excited in your interest to become members in our CSA program and are confident that you will find a share option that fits the needs of your family. In a time when most of the food comes from who knows where, and sprayed with who knows what, you will have the added benefit of knowing your food was grown locally by your own personal family of farmers. As always, we consider our members to be family and you are encouraged to visit the farm at any time.
