Windy Springs Farm is a small family farm that is owned and operated by brothers, Matt and Tom Mood, fourth generation farmers. Our farm is located in Quakertown, Upper Bucks County. We grow a wide range of seasonal produce and are especially known for our sweet corn. We raise simmi-angus beef cattle that is sold as individually packaged USDA inspected select cuts. We raise a small flock of broiler chickens each year that are sold as whole roaster chickens. Both the beef and chicken are raised free from hormones and antibiotics, fed a balanced diet of grasses and only grains that we grow, and pastured seasonally. We also raise cage-free hens in the same manner for farm fresh brown eggs. More recently, we have started incorporating cut flower patches that include gladiolus, sunflowers, and zinnias. If it seems like we do a lot, we do! Both Matt and Tom have an incomparable work ethic and passion for farming which they have passed on to their children. We take great pride in bringing fresh local food from our family's farm to your family's table!
All of this is available May-November at our Farm Stand on Rt. 663 in Quakertown, near the PA Turnpike. We also have a farmer's market in Coopersburg on Saturday mornings from 9:00-2:00 at Living Memorial Park.
Additionally, we have horse quality hay and straw available in square or round bales. Check out our website and join the mailing list for more information!
