American Legion Farmers Market

The American Legion Farmers Market is a year-round, indoor farmers/artisan market. It is currently held every Friday from 12 noon to 6 pm.
It is vendor managed and operated, but support and facilities are provided by
Post 15 Sumter American Legion. Brittany Newman of Newman's Farmhouse is the manager, while Russell Singleton of Sunny Cedars Farm is assistant. We have farmers/vendors from 8 surrounding counties attending. Most of the vegetables and fruits are no-spray and organic, but not all - check with the farmer. Also, available are: antibiotic free pastured pork, farm fresh eggs, whole raw milk, German artisan breads, several bakers of cakes, cookies, pies & breads, even macrons and pretzels. Jams. jellies, relishes, pickles. Food trucks. Handcrafted all natural soaps, gluten free items, much more and constantly changing, but always local.
