We are one of the largest Farmers Markets in Vermont, and the first to run a Saturday market 52 weeks of the year. We are a diverse collection of local growers and producers of vegetables, plants, flowers, herbs, honey, maple syrup, apple cider, wines, salsa, jams, jellies, baked goods, meats, artisan cheeses, crafts and prepared foods
Our summer markets are: Wednesdays, 1-5 pm in Depot Park, Rutland VT from Mid-May to late-October. Thursdays, 3 pm - 6 pm on the Green in Fair Haven from mid-June to mid-October. Saturdays, 9 am - 2 pm in Depot Park, Rutland, VT from Mother's Day weekend through Halloween.
Our Winter Market runs from the beginning of November to the beginning of May, every Saturday from 10 am - 2 pm. We are located at The Howe Center, 1 Scale Ave. (Franklin Center) Rutland, VT 05701.
We feature live music and special events throughout the year. Please check our website, www.vtfarmersmarket.org for each week's announcements.
The venue in Rutland's Depot Park is called THE RUTLAND DOWNTOWN FARMERS MARKET and is run by two market organizations, one being The Vermont Farmers Market and the other being The Rutland County Farmers Market. The Rutland County Farmers Market has a website too at www.rutlandcountyfarmersmarket.org
We share the park harmoniously and have done so for many years.
