Vernon Farmer's Market

The Vernon Farmers Market is located on the north side of the Wilbarger County courthouse square. Local vendors and farmers sell locally-grown, seasonal vegetables, herbs, and fruit such as squash, cucumbers, black-eyed peas, corn, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, strawberries, onions, blackberries, garlic, watermelon, mint, rosemary, thyme, oregano sage, and cantaloupe every Saturday morning in the summer from 8am until 12 noon or sellout. Vendors selling homemade baked goods (breads, pies, cookies, rolls), eggs, honey, canned goods (jellies, jams, pickles, relishes) and local craft items such as goat's milk soap and cutting boards can be found. Live music, themed events, and educational programs can also be found at the market.
