We grow all of our vegetables using the Eliot Coleman method of organic farming. This just means that it's a soil based method. Our primary focus is on soil fertility and this in turn produces healthy plants. We do not use any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides. Rather, we use clover as a cover crop and rely on strategic planting methods to maximize the plants natural resilience. The soil that we are planting on has not had chemicals on it for 5 years, though we have not been certified by the FDA as organic.
