Marr Pond Farm

We grow MOFGA certified organic mixed vegetables, dry beans, cut flowers, herbs, and shiitake mushrooms at the edge of tranquil Marr Pond. We practice cover cropping, crop rotations, and never use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Our farm philosophies have roots in permaculture principles (though we are not a 'permaculture farm') and we come to farming with a passion for environmental and social justice.

Vegetables, flowers, and mushrooms are available at the Waterville and Orono Farmer's Markets, at local retailers, and through our CSA and Market Shares.

Members of our CSA will pick up shares on the farm, at their Workplace Partner location, the Orono Farmers Market, and the Downtown Waterville farmers market. Please be in touch if you're interested in becoming a Workplace Partner and having shares delivered to your business or workplace in central Maine.

Customers at the Orono and Waterville Farmer's Markets can also become farm members with our Market Shares, these shares allow members more flexibility than a traditional CSA.
