Renaissance Farms operates a Free-Choice CSA. This means that shareholders are free to choose what will go into their bags/boxes. In order to streamline the process, our shares operate on a credit system. Each shareholder is allotted a credit amount per week based upon the size and type of share they purchase. Shareholders are free to choose from available produce, meat, dairy or other farm products to make up their weekly allotment. The retail price is totaled and the credit deducted. Some products are not included in the credit system, but qualify for a discount to members only. Example::
Full share = $50/week credit (full share costs less than $20/wk) It's a great deal!
