We are currently offering shares in a Winter Egg CSA. From November 2009 through April 2010, members can enjoy high quality pastured eggs from happy hens, fed local feed (antibiotic, hormone, and by-product-free), moved weekly, and protected within electric netting. The laying house is mobile, and the hens spend their days foraging and scratching the grass in the sunshine. Bright golden-yellow yolks indicate a well-nourished hen, and a high level of carotenoids. Pickups are every other Saturday at Findlay Market. Please contact us for more information. Our Produce CSA customers receive the first pick of the fruits and vegetables that we grow. Since everything is produced locally and naturally on our farm, the weekly baskets contain whatever produce is in season. In addition, pastured eggs are also included in the share each week.
