We grow vegetables you know and love...think things you would find and choose at the grocery store, only FRESH and LOCAL! You will meet your farmers (all two of us) and get to ask us questions and learn about our quality and belief in local food firsthand. Don't be afraid to ask us for special favors...in 2011 one member wanted "the biggest zucchini we could grow" for a vegetable lasagna his wife was cooking. We grew a 3 footer just for him!

Bring your heavy-duty cotton or canvas bags to pickup, and we will help you transfer your produce from its own crate to your bag. Forget your bag? No problem...we always have extra bags on hand. Then take your time and grab some of the wonderful extras we bring along such as chickens, breads, local honey and more.

The type and quantity of vegetables you will receive will depend on where we are in the season. Here is a list of what we are aiming for this year:

2012 Growing List:

Basil Beets (variety) Beans (Green) Beans (Yellow Wax) Beans (Kidney - Dried) Broccoli Broccoli Sprouts Cabbage (Red and Green) Cantaloupe (Minnesota Midgets) Carrots (Multiple, sweet and unbelievably addictive) Cauliflower Celery (Tall Utah) Cucumbers, Pickling (you can order extra) Cucumbers,Slicing Head Lettuce Leaf Lettuce (varieties) Garlic Kale (Red Russian and Lacinato) Mint Onions (Green) Onions (Reds, whites, yellows) Peas - Sugar Snaps Peas - Shelled Peas - Snow Peppers (Bells) Peppers (Banana) Peppers (Jalapeno) Potatoes (Purples, Reds, Russets, Fingerlings) Pie Pumpkins Radishes Squash (summer varieties) Squash (winters, such as Spaghetti, Acorns, Buttercups) Swiss Chard (Bright Lights) Tomatoes (Heirlooms) Tomatoes (Slicers and Cherries) Turnips

...and I am sure we are forgetting to list some items here...

We end the season with a mid-November delivery of winter goodness at our annual Hutterite Turkey sale. Don't miss it! Please see our website to sign up: www.montanacsa.com
