Twenty-four hour pick-up window for subscribers. New sites need a 14-family minimum. Call the farm cell to explore new possible delivery neighborhoods. We specialize in growing great tomatoes (both cherries and heirlooms) in the summer and salad and cooking greens in the winter. While we grow and harvest many other crops for the CSA members, those two foods are major parts of the traditional delivered warm and cold season shares, respectively. WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING NEW SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR THE WINTER CSA. Please email us for more information on how to sign up for a share. Our winter share is about the diverse bounty of choice crops rationally grown in the cool months. We lead the East coast in growing winter vegetables and enjoy the cold months immensely.
From May 6 thru October 26, Farmers' Market Option subscribers may totally customize their foods by shopping at the farm Fridays (12:00 - 4:00 pm; members only) or our Saturday Chevy Chase (WDC) farmers' market (9 - 1 pm; public fully welcome). This option is a special shopping-basket debit system, and lets market-attending CSA members choose their CSA weeks and which foods they get. If someone don't love tomatoes or greens, there are plenty of other choices. The Farmers' Market option is also the best way for CSA members to get our lovely bouquets.

Customized Farmers' Market Option: CSA members may choose a debit system, pre-pay but with a 5% added value bonus, get weekly emails detailing which foods we are bringing to the market, and then pick the Saturdays they can shop as well as their own foods. Nine am until 1 PM, all Saturdays from May 1 through October 31.
