Mount Vernon Farmers' Market offers seasonal fruits and vegetables (including heritage varieties); grass-fed meats; hand-dipped candies, artisan breads, cookies and pies; jams and jellies, eggs, hand-crafted jewelry, woodcrafts and much, much more! WIC, SFMNP, CVV and SNAP approved. Market is held in the First Street Community Center. The summer season starts the first Thursday in May and concludes the second Thursday in October. Live music is co-hosted with the Mt. Vernon/Lisbon CDG on the first and third Thursdays of each month!

Our market is held at the First Street Community Center, 211 1st Street East, Mt. Vernon IA.
Summer market schedule is May through October, each Thursday, from 4pm to 6pm.
Winter Market Schedule is November through April, each Saturday, 11am to 1pm. Winter markets are held inside the Community Center Gymnasium.
