Here at Baldwin Family Farms we believe in growing food that promotes health, local community, and happy animals. We currently raise poultry for eggs and meat. We have approximately 80 laying hens of various ages and breeds including but not limited to Rhode Island Reds, Gold, Silver, and Blue Laced Wyandottes, Welsummers, Copper Marans, Ameraucanas, and Plymouth Rocks. A number of our birds are heritage breeds and several are listed on the Slow Foods Ark of Taste. The hens are housed in a secure, comfortable building and are free ranged every day. They have unlimited access to bugs and plant life to keep them healthy and happy. We raise a combination of fast and slow growing chickens for meat. We also offer meat chickens that are listed on the Slow Foods Ark of Taste. The meat chickens are also given access to pasture and are raised in comfortable conditions. Please contact us if you would like more information or to place an order. Thank you!
