The Batavia Farmers' Market is in its' 16th year and attracts local farmers and those as far away as Michigan. Enjoy the bounty of each season at the market via local produce, breads, perennials, fruits, Angus Beef and organic selections plus fresh pies and more! Seasonal dates are from Saturday June 25th through October 15th from 8 am until Noon. Because it is a great organization that really does a lot for the City of Batavia.
Fruit ripe, veggies fresh and crisp. Love the variety that adds, breads, cookies, jams and other special treats. Best corn ever tasted.
We have a great variety of locally grown foods, fruits, jams, plus other special features each week.
This year the market features all agricultural products with a focus on Specialty Crops made possible by a grant from the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
FREE community cookbooks will be handed out each Saturday with seasonal recipes, look forward to kid friendly cooking demonstrations and activities (veggie people and edible arrangements) as well as green groups demonstrations and education (canning and conservation).
