Rancho de Rodney is run by Rodney Wells and his wife Sherril. Rodney spent 30 years on active duty with the US Navy, 15 of those on submarines, retiring as Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat. A Kansas native who grew up in Compton, California, Rodney graduated magna cum laude with an A.S. in mechanized agriculture from Reedley College. Sherril is also a Kansas native, and an adventurous cook. Rancho de Rodney grows a seasonal variety of herbs, fruits, and vegetables. In summer months we focus on heirloom, paste, and cherry tomatoes as well as several kinds of hot and sweet peppers. We can be found at Kaiser's Wednesday morning farmers market year round, and in Oakhurst on Thursday afternoons and Coarsegold on Sunday mornings in the Summer. We were certified organic in 2014 by CCOF.

Upcoming Events

Grown Locally and Organically! We are converting over to urban farming with an emphasis on providing local organic produce to those in need. We are also looking for other land in the Fresno area to add as a second site. The closer to downtown Fresno the better! We are exploring the idea of going non-profit as well.
