Terry has been farming all of his life, starting out with his father when he was very young. His father farmed over 40 acres of land. He taught Terry his passion and skills. Terry continued to keep the farm going after his father's death and officially named the business Bleiler's Produce Patch. Audrey joined Terry in 2017 when they were married. She brings from her college and high school teaching career knowledge of nutrition, environmental science and biology to help Terry with continuous sustainability in the business.
We have a passion for growing the most nutritious produce. Our sustainable practices offer not only the highest quality food but also products that customers can feel good about. We use NON GMO and Heirloom seeds and farm mostly by traditional methods that include all natural fertilizers, chemical free practices, natural compost and the use of OMRI products.
Currently, we sell our produce at the West Reading Farmer's Market, the Trexlertown Farmer's Market, the Macungie Farmers Market and we have an indoor, year-round stand at The Slatington Marketplace. We also sell wholesale to restaurants and businesses and have our own CSA.
We are contracted with St. Luke's Hospital to deliver CSA shares to employees as well.
