Brookwood Community Farm is a working farm in Canton, MA. Brookwood's mission is to build a farm-centered community that members call their own. Farm members are united by a shared passion for sustainable agriculture, fresh local food, and a commitment to increasing access to healthy food.
Brookwood grows food sustainably for 300 CSA members, farmstand, the Roslindale Farmers Market, and the Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition's summer market. We provide on-farm educational and community-building opportunities and actively support food access projects including direct donations to several local food pantries. We also have an annual seedling sale every May and pick-your-own flowers July through September.
Although we are not organic certified, we follow the Northeast Organic Farming Association organic pledge, which outlines the environmentally and socially sustainable practices we follow.
We offer Spring, Summer, and Fall veggie shares along with Summer and Fall fruit and egg shares and half shares of all, available for 2020! We also have a Pick-Your-Own Flowers share! We also are looking for workshares to help with CSA harvest and distribution.

The quality of the food is great, the price is reasonable, and the farm is a convenient location for us. Carrots, garlic, and arugula have so much more flavor than the stuff in a store!
The kids love to play on a large tree with a tire swing nearby while I gather our weekly share of the harvest.... [more]
