Buchanan Farmers' Market is open every year May through October on Saturday mornings from 8 am to 1 pm. Throughout the season you can expect to find fresh, local produce including fruits and vegetables, all natural, organic and heirloom; locally raised organic beef; fresh baked breads, muffins and scones with no artificial flavorings or preservatives; perennials and potted herbs; cut flowers; honey; apple cider; jams, salsa's, oils, vinegars, and salad dressing; goats milk soap, soy candles, herb scents, and more agricultural by-products available. Buchanan Farmers' Market also accepts all types of vendors and encourages local businesses and endeavors to join the local farmers and bakers down at the market each Saturday. The market also has monthly themes and offers a wider variety of arts, crafts, jewelry designers, engravers, furniture makers, and more. Every first Saturday of the month the market hosts live music by the official sound of the Farmers' Market - acoustic duo "You'll Dew" with mandolin and guitar. Buchanan Farmers' Market is located downtown Buchanan one block south of Front street behind the district library. It is part of the Buchanan Common as is central location to prominent arts and historical sites along the McCoy's Creek Trail. The market is a local commitment to healthy living.
