The Downtown Marquette Farmers & Artists Market, sponsored by the Downtown Development Authority, features forty vendors with a variety of locally produced items. A wide array of produce and meats grown organically, naturally, and conventionally is available. Flowers and vegetable starts, including heirloom varieties and native plants can be purchased for your garden. In addition to our growers we have local soap makers, bread bakers, herbalists, jewelers, wood workers and other artists.
Every week at market a recipe will be available that features market produce. There will also be live music at each market and classes twice a month that are provided by the Marquette Food Co-op. Topics include healthy eating on a budget, bee keeping, making your own baby food, pie making with local berries and more! The Food Co-op is also sponsoring Farm Tours throughout the summer. This provides customers with the opportunity to visit the farms see firsthand how their food is grown. Information about farm tours can be obtained at the market master booth.

I find the Marquette Farmers/Artists Market to be a well-rounded market. There are several food vendors, all of with which I have had positive experiences.... [more]
I always find the best fruit and vegetables at one particular vendor that is there.... Farmer Q's Market. They have the best blueberries and cherries.....YUM!
It started from meager beginnings and each year the organizers make it better with little money. I can only imagine what this $5,000 could do for it! The farmers and artists that set up each weekend love the atmosphere and the attendees love it too. Great way to support local people!
