Our practices go beyond organic in ways that are better for than the environment and food nutrition, by using no-till vegetable and flower production and absolutely no pesticides, even those allowed by Certified Organic standards. Additionally, our biologically-driven crop fertility is produced on farm using the microbiomes of our animals and local forest, as we recognize commercial chemistry-driven fertilizers used in most production have a negative impact on soil carbon storage and the microbial diversity that drives vitality. We are interested in enhancing beneficial ecological processes, nutrient cycling, animal integration, connecting eaters to the place their food is grown, growing community, and sharing knowledge around nutrition and holistic landscape management.
Choosing food grown by Farm Sol helps enhance soil, water, animal, and human health. Sign up for our CSA, find us at the local farmers market, or stop by our weekly farm stand. We are excited to meet you!
