Family owned and operated since 1946, Scharf Farm provides customers with fresh, homegrown produce including strawberries and asparagus, peaches and blackberries, blueberries, cherries, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers (sweet and hot), broccoli, green beans, okra, squash, pumpkins and more. Our greenhouses bloom in the spring with geraniums, hanging baskets, and patio pots. Mums and fall display items available in the fall.
During the farm season (typically mid-Apr - Nov), come see us 7 days a week at the store on the farm, located 4 miles N of Millstadt, IL, or visit us on Fridays and Saturdays at Soulard Market in St. Louis, MO. I grew up down the road from the Scharf's. Passing their beautiful orchards and fields on my way to school was always a highlight. They even gave me one of my first jobs. You'd be hard pressed to meet a more kind family, and hard pressed to find better produce.
