"The-Veggie-Lady" hosts a year-round Farm Market, promoting "local" grown fruits, vegetables, and home-canned items supplied through her own (and other local gardener's) organic gardens, and several local farms. Also available are her own "Free-Range, Pasture Chicken Eggs" and local honey, produced through one of the local farms. The majority of farm items are provided by Neal's Berry Farm, Froberg's Farm, Atkinson's Farm, Theiss Farm & Morehead's Blueberry Farm. They're ALL LOCAL!! Yippee!! "The-Veggie-Lady" & Froberg's Farm also host a booth each Sat. from 8-12 at the Grogan's Mill Village Assoc. Farmer's Market in The Woodlands, TX. Each week they offer their home-grown items with Froberg's Strawberries being at the top of the list! As co-owner of Sweet Magnolias Bakery, "The-Veggie-Lady" also offers home made breads and desserts made with locally grown fruits and veggies. Gift Baskets, (which "The-Veggie-Lady" personally prepares) are filled with local-grown, and local farm home-canned items, delivered free in The Woodlands, TX. The "Victorious Vegan" Basket is very popular when local items are in season! Through promoting local farmers and gardeners, "The-Veggie-Lady's" customers come to appreciate that "Fresh is Best!", in more ways than one. 10% of all net proceeds are divided and contributed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Montgomery County Women's Center.
