Schenectady Farmers Market

Please join us at the Schenectady Farmers Market and visit local farmers and artisans. From May through October we are located each Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in historic downtown Schenectady at City Hall in the heart of the downtown arts, shopping, and dining district. The market accepts EBT/SNAP benefits and participates in the NYS Fresh Connect program which provides enhanced benefits for customers using their SNAP benefits. The market also participates in the Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) and also serves as a distribution location for senior FMNP Coupons by the County Department of Senior and Long-Term Care staff. Staff from Cornell Cooperative Extension table regularly at the market providing nutrition education and show individuals how to select and prepare fresh produce from the market.
