Possibly one of the oldest active farms in Greene County NY, Lazy Day Farm was originally called the Reed-Hull Farm, built in 1755. Up until 2010, it was a cattle farm (dairy and beef). The soil is very rich for the area, and we are able to grow all our produce organically. Everything we sell is made or grown on premise, and without a greenhouse. This means we are VERY seasonal. Some years are bountiful and others are not. But every year, fruit is bountiful (blackberries, blueberries, black caps, rhubarb). Besides fruit and produce, we are expanding our mushroom gardens every year, as well as our fruit jams and jellies, and dried herbs. Beginning 2022, we have started our exotic nursery to expand the palette and entice the eye (think rare flowers and plants for sale). Seasonally open from Memorial Day weekend to Halloween. Give a call if you are looking for something in particular outside that timeframe. We just might share some eggs or salad greens!
