The Orcas Island Farmers' Market started over 25 years ago as a gathering of local farmers and crafters. Over time the market has grown to nearly 40 artisans and farmers proudly displaying goods made and grown on Orcas Island. The market runs outdoors on the Village Green, in the heart of Eastsound, from 10 am-3pm every Saturday from May-September. In the fall, the market goes indoors through October and two weeks in November.
The Orcas Island farmers' market is a celebration of the San Juan Islands' pastoral heritage and a true community gathering for 5,000 people that call this place home. A taste of island living, the farmers' market is a must-see for anyone visiting the islands.
