Silver Maples Farm

We are a small organic farm, located in Hillsville, VA. We grow a variety of organic produce, including gourmet quality vegetables, berries, herbs and cutting flowers. We no longer offer a CSA or farm share program, due to a lack of customer support. In it's place is our "Self Serve, Honor System" We are now open every day, from 10 AM until 5 PM, rain or shine. All displayed produce on our farm stand is priced at an affordable $1.00 per pound. Seasonal medium & large size pumpkins are priced at 50 cents per pound, All Self Serve customers chose all the contents of their purchase, placing all in a reusable box or bag, which they then weigh on our digital scale. Each pound is $1.00 X the number of total pounds. Payment is via check or cash, secured with a paper clip and dropped into the slot of our deposit box. Free "cut your own" flowers and fresh organic herbs will be available to all our customers.. We supply scissors & jars with water. Also available are a large selection of pickled products, apple butter and seedless jams. Seasonal mums are also available. All our winter squash is organically grown.
We are not organically certified, but practice mostly organic methods of crop production, with a few exceptions. We utilize only organic fertilizers and use only pure spring water for irrigation needs.
We carry both our own organic home grown produce, as well as commercially grown fruits and vegetables grown by surrounding farms. We also offer a large selection of homemade fruit butters, seedless jam & pickled products, all of which can be special ordered by the case or half case, mix or match.
