We sell organic produce, herbs, and some fruit from May-November at our farmstand on Saundersville Road a mile behind the Walmart in Hermitage, Saturday mornings from 8-12. We sell the best-tasting vegetables we can find at prices competitive with supermarkets. Our specialties are Janet's mesclum (salad) mix, tomatoes (mostly heirlooms), Sugar Snap peas, Blue Lake snap beans, and a wide variety of greens, including mustard, kales, chard, beet greens, spinach, and more. We also grow the best-tasting summer squashes we can find -- along with all the other veggies one normally expects.
Peter is the author of "Organic Farming, Everything You Need to Know," along with numerous magazine articles, and has been growing organically for almost 30 years.
