The newest season of Hartwell Farmers Market Season: start: 3rd Saturday in April end: Saturday before Thanksgiving. Featuring fresh fruit & veggies, live plants, herbs, farm eggs, cut flowers, honey, jams, jellies & preserves, fresh baked breads, pies, & cookies and locally hand-crafted items The rule is - everything has to be either grown or made by the vendor. Any other thing must be properly labeled (Bryson Farms apples) and MUST be grown/made in the immediate 5-county area. Outlying counties will be considered. It is local and I am so happy to have fresh local food. Thank you Hart, Franklin, and all the other counties near by that bring us fresh wholesome healthy vegetables, fruits, nuts and eggs.
I love that every thing is grown localy and the merchants are friendly and helpful.
All the people are local and some are master gardeners... The produce is fresh and there are some really nice flowers...This year should be good for them since were getting good rain.....

Find us lined up at the greenway of Ace Hardware parking lot. Located on the west side of town at the intersection of GA 51 and US 29 at the light.. Season runs from 3rd week in April until the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We will announce start time in the paper and on Facebook.
