Fernbrook Farms CSA

Hello and welcome to Fernbrook Farms CSA!
We are located on the grounds of Fernbrook Farms - a 230 acre family-owned and operated farm featuring a wholesale tree nursery, historic bed and breakfast and education center in addition to the CSA. The farm is located in Chesterfield, NJ about 12 miles south of Trenton.
Our distribution season runs from late May to Thanksgiving (26 weeks) and we have 2 share options. A full season (26 week) share or a 10-week share where you choose your 10 weeks. We offer a lot of fresh, healthy, chemical-free produce ranging from the standards like lettuce, peas, tomatoes, broccoli and melons to some veggies not as well-known but oh-so-good like delicious chinese cabbage, tasty heirloom tomatoes, crisp fennel and savory delicata squash! We farm using only organically approved standards (although we are not USDA certified organic). Families love the choices we offer in terms of how we distribute our produce, and when they can come to the farm - the shop is open 3 days a week and the u-pick fields are open 6 days a week). And our farmshop offers a great variety of local and / or organic products including coffee, pasture raised eggs, organic milk and cheese and homemade potpies and baked goods made on the farm!
We are also proud to be a part of training the next generation of sustainable farmers. Since 2007, Over 25 Apprentices have trained at Fernbrook and many are now managing their own operations. It is all part of our mission to reconnect people with healthy, fresh food at all levels. We hope you will consider a share at Fernbrook Farms this season!
